‘It was a natural choice for me to become an aesthetician, from a young age I was always interested in beauty and wellbeing. I achieved my professional qualification in 1998 and I have never looked back. I worked in various areas of the industry and constantly sought to improve and upgrade my skills. I had my own aesthetic center ‘Las Guapas de Lidia’ which represented my passion to bring out the best in everyone.
I love this job because it gives me the opportunity to really help someone. Looking good is not just visual but a feeling. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to help someone feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin and I do this with great passion. I know that a massage is nowadays an important part of our wellbeing. Living in a fast-paced world it is important to shut off for an hour. I am so happy to feel the knots loosening up in my clients back and to see the look in their face when they get up from the therapy bed with a feeling of ease. This must be the part of my job that I enjoy most.
Working at Amis has given me the opportunity to practice my profession now also in Malta. I am thankful to meet so many new people and share my joyful ☺️character, my joking nature and of course my love of baking 😋👩🍳’.
